PROPERTY LOCATION: Take NE 15th lane north out of Lamar to East state Highway Ee and turn Right (east) until the road turns back north and becomes NE 30th Lane. Travel North on 30th lane until you reach NE 50th Rd and turn right. The farm is now on the north side of the road. (Watch for auction signs.)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This high quality farm is located in a desirable and productive crop farming area of Barton county Missouri, just North of Lamar Missouri. The Bateman Family farm was first settled 163 years ago and has been owned by the same family since. There is a very cool photo from 1889 of Theodore & Laura Bateman standing in front of a two-story home on this farm. Years later, Chester & Ruth Bateman were awarded membership into the Missouri Century Farm Club with over 100 years of Bateman ownership. Cropland: The farm consists of fertile and very level row crop land. The farm will be planted to corn at the time of auction and Buyer will receive the Sellers one-third () share of the 2024 fall corn crop. (Corn) 89.36 base acres and 164 bushel yield.

POSSESSION: Possession of the property will be given upon payment in full of the purchase price and transfer of title at closing, subject to the existing agricultural lease, as follows:  

Possession of the farm will be given upon completion of 2024 fall harvest of the corn crop. Buyer will receive the Sellers one-third () share of the corn harvest, and will take possession of the cropland immediately upon completion of the fall harvest. 

 

TAXES: The general taxes for 2023 were $1105.

 

MINERALS: Mineral rights are not being reserved and the sellers interest shall transfer with the surface, to the Buyer at closing.
