Water is distributed from an electric well at the headquarters, along with a combination solar/electric well and a windmill well in the northern pasture.   The L6 Cattle Ranch is located in the heart of New Mexicos best and largest sustained wind corridor.  The ranch has executed a firm wind contract that provides for increased terms every five years for the 30 years, with an option for 2 additional 10-year period for a total of 50 years.  The term of the current contract has 28 years remaining. Wind operations include eleven 2.8 megawatt turbines, thus providing no-risk and increasing cash flows for the next 28 years. A copy of the wind generation lease will be furnished to serious inquiries upon execution of a Confidentiality Agreement.

Wildlife    Hunting
  The primary big game hunting on the L6 is Pronghorn Antelope. The owners have hunted conservatively and the antelope population on the ranch is in very good condition. There are many other species of small game and birds that call the L6 their home.
